Easterly is a grade II listed
thatched cottage offering a romantic village setting with exposed beams and
a recently
re-discovered and exposed inglenook fireplace in the sitting room. It is
ideal for summer holidays and cosy winter breaks, especially for a 'get away
from it all' Christmas or New Year break.
The kitchen is fully equipped
with washing machine, fridge freezer, oven and microwave. Upstairs
the master bedroom is connected to the second
bedroom which has two single beds. Outside the secret rear courtyard is full
of mature shrubs and an archway leads you to a quiet secluded garden with
distant sea views along the North Cornwall coast. We welcome well behaved
dogs, and there are plenty of countryside walks nearby to keep them happy.
Easterly Cottage is in the centre of the picturesque village of
Poughill. It's a little way from the
St Olaf's church with its interesting four pointed steeple, and just over one mile from
the bustling town of Bude and it's sandy beaches and
coastal walks.
Easterly is ideal for
families wanting to experience a village atmosphere, and yet be close
to the wonderful unspoilt beaches of Crooklets, Summerleaze and
Northcott Mouth and the other attractions of Cornwall.
